The North Face Rage

Originally unveiled in 1989, The North Face Rage collection was the first outdoor line entirely dedicated to snowboard and boosted the rise of snow culture. Back in the early ‘90s, snowboarding was struggling to find a feature that would allow to stick out from other extreme sports, something related to the reckless nature of the discipline. The North Face sorted that out: specifically engineered to withstand the trashing and bashing of hard riding, The North Face Rage got to the point by enabling athletes to perform high and spreading snowboarding culture all over the world.Thirty years later, TNF designers pull out this celebrative collection provided with baggy fits, bold color-blocking and many vintage patterns that smell like chalet and bonfire. Even if this selection works at the level of the most challenging The North Face alpine gears, its outdoor DNA looks intertwined with streetwear sensations , leading to a range of winter jackets, tees and bottoms. Here pile fleeces, slides and and sweatpants show off the same “Leopard Yellow” and “Rose Red” of tees and jackets, but Nuptse are what really catch everyone’s eyes. Worked out in a special camo-inspired rendition, the Nuptse 1996 pays homage to The North Face snowboarding roots using the same fits and graphics of the remaining Rage line.
