Reebok Aztrek

Launched in 1993, the Reebok Aztrek are an all-terrain sneaker inspired to the archive, a perfect example of how modern skills positively affect a masterwork from the past. Conceived and designed by the one and only Christian Tresser, the Aztrek share some similarities with other Reebok sneakers from the mid '90s. If compared to the Ventilator, for instance, they boast the same Hexalite system in the heel, a shock-absorption technology that consists of honeycomb-like cells, responsible for redistributing the energy on a bigger area, to reduce fatigue and effort. What's really peculiar of this retro sneaker is a X-shaped Vector Logo on the toebox, made of suede inserts contrasting with mesh and synthetic overlays. Other original elements include the tongue, where a vintage Reebok logo tops off a running figure, and 3M details in the form of small silver spheres reflecting lights on toebox and heel. The Aztrek's off-road soul stands out clear in the outsole, where a diamond-shaped pattern secure traction and stability even on tough terrains, from urban cobblestone to mountain trails. As any other vintage sneaker, this Reebok style wouldn't be complete without a certain amount of OG colorways, ranging from teal and purple to neon yellow. Peep more online on SPECTRUM!
