Nike Just Do It
Over the past 30 years, the "Just Do It" claim has been actively involved in Nike's relentless rise to the top. Printed on the tongue or simply embroidered on the upper of many breakthrough Nike sneakers, this motto symbolizes everything that makes Nike unrivaled. Now, the Oregon-located company decides to honor the slogan with a special footwear collection. Within the Nike JDI collection, the "Just Do It" writing covers a bunch of Air Max, Air Force 1 and hybrid sneakers inspired to the vault, playing with the chromatic contrast between white, black and orange, i.e. the brand's signature colors. All-over graphics dress up two flashy Air Force 1 renditions, both the Air Max Plus pairs and large part of the Air Max, coming in a classic orange box which also includes stickers and a vintage keychain, which quotes the famous 1988 Nike poster. Following the deconstructed style carried out by Virgil Abloh, the designer behind the collaborative footwear project between Nike and Off-White named "The Ten", the whole series is finished by a branded tag and "Just Do It" colorful patches on the heels.
