In the Nike archive there is a vast repository of prototypes. Each represents a test - an initial attempt to solve an athletic problem. Some of these experiments, like the Huarache prototypes, are more evolved in famous silhouettes. The Nike Air Force 1 Type, before the N.354 collection, reinvents the streetwear icon with a touch of "hand-made" aesthetics. The new silhouette uses transparent materials and a modern construction technique to highlight the closure system in the inner section. An adjustable heel strap allows a customized fit, while the modified tongue comes directly from the Beaverton prototypes archive.
