Craquelé Varnish from La Pajarita is a colorless, water-based paint that is used to obtain the "cracked" effect typical of the vintage design. It can be applied over any previously painted surface. 75 ml format Instructions: Apply the product on a previously painted and well dry surface. Apply Craquelé Varnish, let it dry for an hour or two. Subsequently, apply a layer of a different color on the Craquelé Varnish layer previously applied: the last layer paint will crack and, through the cracks, you will see the first color applied. To obtain bigger and larger cracks, force the drying with a hot air hair dryer.
Reeves Gesso Primer is an ideal tool for the preparation of the surfaces that need to be painted with acrylic and oil colors. It adheres well to canvases, paper or wood. Thanks to its consistency, Gesso Primer gives great flexibility and color adhesion at the base to which it is applied and is crack proof.
Gesso Primer is also a perfect way to get textured bases, if applied with a spatula or a flat brush.
